silver "special moments 650-pc"

of all my special moments 650-pc cameras (which i usually refer to as trashcams), the silver trashcam is by far my favorite. the blue colors are spectacular, the contrast is high, and almost every image has a vignette.

interestingly, the viewfinder on the camera is somewhat defective; when you look through the viewfinder, it appears as if you're using a telephoto lens. this was the first roll i shot using this camera, and i was pretty surprised when i saw that the images were not close-ups.

maryland in lo-fi

these shots were taken in tilghman island, st. michaels, annapolis, and ocean city maryland, using my red, black, and silver special moments 650-pc along with my holga 135.

as you can see, the two photos below are of the same subject (unfortunately not the same distance), but they were taken with different cameras. the first one was taken with the holga 135 while the second was shot with the black special moments 650-pc. one fact about the black 650-pc: its pictures are generally dark and every image has a light leak in the left. compared to those of the black 650-pc, the images of the holga 135 have better saturation.

almost every image from this camera has at least a hint of a gorgeous vignette, especially the second image.
